Apartment Hory is an ideal choice for couples or young families. In addition to its prime location right in the center of Starý Smokovec, it offers stunning views of the Tatras — both from the apartment itself and the spacious balcony. A big plus is the convenience of a grocery store, pharmacy, and café located directly in the building, so you can take care of everything in slippers and barrier-free. Of course, the apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen, children’s amenities, high-speed internet, and cable TV. For rainy days, we’ve also prepared board games and coloring books. Apartment Hory is located in the same building as Apartment Háje, making it easy to enjoy your holiday together with friends.
Apartment Háje comfortably accommodates 5 adults, whether from one household or as two couples. You will also have at your disposal a fully equipped kitchen, children’s amenities, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a separate toilet. Two balconies offer views of the Tatra peaks as well as the center of Starý Smokovec. For unfavorable weather, we have prepared not only board games but also coloring books and sudoku. A big plus is the grocery store, pharmacy, and café directly in the building, so you can take care of everything in slippers. The entire building provides barrier-free access all the way to the apartment. Apartment Háje is located in the same building as Apartment Hory, in case you would like to spend your holiday together with friends.
Apartment Lesy offers 4 beds and provides our guests with the most beautiful views of the Tatras. In addition to the breathtaking views of the Tatra peaks, which you simply cannot escape inside the apartment, you can enhance the winter atmosphere with the crackling of wood in the stove. In summer, the balcony seating with its views makes up for it once again. A fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bathtub, Wi-Fi, and TV are naturally included. For rainy summer days or long winter evenings, the apartment offers a full library, DVD player with movies and cartoons, board games, as well as coloring books and sudoku. Apartment Lesy is located in the same building as Apartment Lúky, in case you would like to spend your holiday together with friends.
Apartment Lúky. Our largest apartment. It comfortably accommodates two smaller families or one larger one. Alternatively, two couples will find maximum comfort and space here. Its capacity can even be easily increased by reserving Apartment Lesy (+4), located directly above Apartment Lúky. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bathtub, and separate toilet. It also offers amenities for small children, such as a crib and a highchair. In case of bad weather, we have prepared board games, sudoku, and coloring books for you. This apartment also provides free Wi-Fi and includes satellite TV with a DVD player, movies, and cartoons.
Who are we
We are three young people who, thanks to our parents, grandparents, and our own resourcefulness, have brought together four apartments in the High Tatras and together created "V srdci Tatier".
ABOUT US
Michal
The youngest member of our team, but no less important. Michal is a university student, and we owe him the beautiful photos of our apartments. In addition to creating them, his role also includes managing our social media and the booking system, which he works to optimize according to current occupancy.
Peter
The husband of our interior designer. His role in our team is mainly the legal and economic side of the project. Peter carefully studies all the laws and regulations our apartments must comply with and then puts these requirements into practice.
Hana
The older sister of our photographer. Her primary role is furnishing the apartments, choosing accessories, and selecting the items you will find and use during your stay. In addition, she also manages our social media and handles every reservation.
In addition to the three of us, many other people take care of the apartments. Our parents help us with maintenance and any necessary repairs. A cleaning service ensures the apartments are spotless. And of course, the billing department—if you request an invoice for reimbursement of your holiday voucher, they will send it directly to your email.

If I cannot arrive for my reserved stay, will my reservation be forfeited?
Our accommodation offers only non-refundable cancellations. However, if you are unable to attend your stay for any reason, you may transfer it to a family member or friend who can use it instead (please inform us of the change).

Can I check in earlier than 3:00 p.m.?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide an earlier check-in, as the apartments are being cleaned and prepared for you between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. To ensure the highest quality of service, we need sufficient time for this process.

Can we stay in your apartments with a dog?
No, our apartments do not offer accommodation with pets. We do not accept even small dog breeds or other domestic animals. You can also find this information listed in the rules for each apartment.

Does your accommodation offer meals? Half board or full board?
No, each of our apartments is equipped with a fully furnished kitchen, and we do not provide meal services. However, in our apartments you will find a board with recommended places to eat nearby. Some of them also offer delivery.

Is a baby cot/high chair available in the apartment?
You can find a clear list of each apartment’s equipment on our website under the specific apartment. Three out of our four apartments are equipped with a travel baby cot and a high chair.

Where exactly are the apartments located?
You can find a map with the exact location of each apartment by opening the specific apartment directly here on our website. Two apartments (Hory and Háje) are located in the center of Starý Smokovec in the former service house, and the other two apartments (Lesy and Lúky) are situated on the edge of Horný Smokovec near the headquarters of the Mountain Rescue Service.

Is it possible to use a holiday voucher for the stay?
Yes. An official invoice is issued for every stay. To make it valid for reimbursement of a holiday voucher by your employer, it is necessary to fill out the questionnaire you will receive together with the instructions for your stay.

Are your apartments equipped with internet/TV?
Yes, all our apartments are equipped with high-speed internet and cable or satellite TV.

How does the “self-service check-in – SMARTLOCK” work?
You will learn everything about the check-in process a few days before your arrival, when you receive an email with instructions.

Do I get a discount if I stay longer?
Yes, our apartment prices are set so that the longer you stay, the more attractive the rate becomes. The pricing levels are divided into 1 night, 2–3 nights, 4–6 nights, and 7 or more nights.
